Secretary-General of the Women’s Coalition Global was honored on behalf of Palestinian women by the Minister of Women’s Affairs of the Supreme Council of Libya

Dr. Houria Tarmal, Minister of Women’s Affairs of the Supreme Council of State, and Counselor Muftah Al-Qawi, President of the International Judicial Council, honored Prof. Rabab Awad, Secretary-General of the Women’s Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine, who was accompanied by Prof. Siham Mohamed, former Secretary of the International Women’s Coalition, and a number of female members of the Supreme Council of State, on Friday, March 8, 2024.

It was part of the International Women’s Day activities held by the Rights and Freedoms Committee of the Supreme Council of State, headed by Dr. Fawzia Karawan.

In a speech by Professor Rabab Awad, she emphasized the right of Palestinian and Gazan women to this honor, as they are the ones who sacrifice their lives for the sake of the homeland.

In this context, she called on the attendees to work together and form a front to support Palestinian women and children.
